Injured Syrian child refugee: #findazam campaign

Azam is from Syria. He is a child refugee. Somewhere on the road in Europe. Without his parents. With serious injuries. The five-year-old urgently needs medical treatment. His fate is not unique.

The young boy's face is swollen, covered in bruises. His jaw is broken. He screams with pain. It is pouring with rain in the Serbian capital of Belgrade.

The boy's name is Azam, as a team of BBC reporters covering events in the tent where refugees are being treated is able to establish. A doctor gives the boy first-aid and arranges a transfer to hospital. Azam vanishes without a trace.
